Ryanair winter flights to Rhodes 2010/11

30,000 EXTRA PASSENGERS AT RHODES

Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (14th Sep) announced that it will open its third route from Rhodes to Rome (Ciampino), starting December 2010. This new route will deliver an extra 30,000 passengers p.a. (90,000 in total) to the Greek Island and create up to 30 new jobs (90 in total).

Ryanair celebrated the new Rhodes route by releasing 1 million €5 seats for travel across its European network in October, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (16th Sept).

Speaking today in Rhodes, Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:

“Ryanair is pleased to announce our third Rhodes route to the Italian capital that will start in December 2010 and operate on Wednesdays and Sundays. Ryanair’s routes to/from Rhodes will provide 90,000 passengers with the guaranteed lowest fares and sustain 90 local jobs.

Ryanair is delighted to boost Dodecanese tourism this winter, with its connection from Rhodes to Milan (Bergamo) and from Kos to Frankfurt (Hahn) which will operate twice weekly.

To celebrate the new route Ryanair is launching 1 million €5 seats, for travel across Europe in October, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday.
